Wednesday 16th June 2010 (Week 9 Term 2) saw the inaugural Senior Quadrangular Tournament between Ellesmere College, Geraldine High Schools, Darfield High School and Mt Hutt College. Each school’s 1st 15 Rugby, 1st 11 Football and Senior ‘A’ Netball team participated in a day long tournament. The event was hosted here at Ellesmere College.
This event replaced the numerous exchanges that would previously take place throughout each year. It is hoped that by condensing this event into a single day it will lessen the impact of other forms of competition that a number of the students are involved in. It was very pleasing to see so many community members that supported this event.
We would like to extend our greatest thanks to all of the people who willingly offered their help. Without the assistance of our community it would be impossible to run such events. Congratulations to Geraldine High School for 1st place. Further results below:
